Welcome Back to the Blog!
Last year, we let a few things slide, and blogging was definitely one of them. For a while, I felt bad about it. I wanted to write. Well, I felt like I should write. I kept an ongoing mental list of all the things I needed to do, and writing a blog post was always on that list—but somehow, it was always the last thing on the list.
Honestly, I’m pretty skilled at finding other, seemingly more important things to do instead of tackling the tasks I’m avoiding. Can anyone else relate?
So, why return to blogging now? Because I miss it. Blogging is such a great way to share what’s happening in our business, keep family and friends updated on life, and talk about the recipes, ideas, and games we love. I can’t promise a new post every week—or even every month—but we’re excited to start sharing again.
This year, we’re planning to do more game reviews, and who knows? We might even work up the courage to turn those into videos for our YouTube channel. (Yes, we have one. And yes, there’s even less content there than on this blog!)
A Year of New Adventures
This year feels like the right time to step out of our comfort zones. We’ve got some exciting ideas for new games we want to create and new accessories to add to our shop. There will be new blog posts, new videos—maybe even a behind-the-scenes look at how we make our games, board game reviews, and perhaps some relaxing story-time videos.
We’re also focusing on a few personal goals this year: improving our health (more on that in another post), nurturing our creativity, and prioritizing intentional family time. The last five years have flown by, and we’re ready to slow things down a bit. Sometimes, it’s not about rushing to the next thing but truly savoring the moment you’re in.
Letting Go of the Checklist
One big change I’m making this year is stepping away from the endless to-do lists. Don’t get me wrong—there are still things that need to be done, and I have goals for the year. But I’m letting go of the constant pressure to check things off a list. This is my way of reducing stress and finding more balance in life.
We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to sharing more with you. Here’s to a year of creativity, connection, and living in the moment. Thanks for being here with us on this journey!
