Board Gaming and Life
Board gaming is not just a hobby, it is a way to connect with the community around you. As a family of 8, going to the movies or to a local theme park is not a financially convenient way to spend time together. More often than not, we spend our time hiking in parks, camping, and, most of all, playing board games. We have met fantastic people and made lifelong friends by inviting them over for a board game and spending quality intellectual and silly energy in the pursuit of board game glory. When Carrie and I first married, we received a custom made wahoo board, purchased at Market Day in Corsicana, Texas. It was our first board game, and still one of our favorites.
